With a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and an MBA, Mr. Mahmoud Gohar is an advocate for education. Mr. Mahmoud’s appreciation for learning stems from a family history of investing and founding schools. To give back to their hometown, elders in Mr. Mahmoud’s family started building schools in 1988. Since then, the family has invested in schools across the country. 

Mr. Mahmoud thinks that education is as essential as water and air. He believes that the key to raising well-rounded individuals who benefit society is pedagogy. He wants children to love and appreciate the importance of learning. Mr. Mahmoud hopes that in the near future education in Egypt reaches and exceeds international standards. While investing in schools is often seen as merely a business venture, Mr. Mahmoud believes that it his duty to give back to society and that raising generations of educated individuals is the best way to do so.

His dream for Core West College is for it to go beyond solely educating children. He aims to use the best of the educational systems that Core West College offers to raise lifelong learners and global citizens who appreciate knowledge and practice our values.

Mr. Mahmoud’s goal is to continue building schools across Egypt and eventually create institutions for higher learning.focused on school culture and management, teacher development, and student achievement.
